Netflix has unveiled the ensemble cast for romantic comedy The Life List, directed and written by Adam Brooks, who wrote 2008's Definitely, Maybe and comedy series Imposters. Sofia Carson (Purple Hearts, Carry-On), Kyle Allen (A Haunting in Venice, West Side Story), Sebastian de Souza (Fair Play, The Great), and Connie Britton (The White Lotus, Friday Night Lights) are attached to star.
Based on Lori Nelson Spielman's best-selling novel, the film is set to be produced by Liza Chasin under the banner of 3dot Productions. Hutch Parker, Adam Brooks, Margaret Chernin, and Kerry Orent will also produce.
The film centers around Alex Rose, portrayed by Sofia Carson, who embarks on a transformative journey prompted by her mother, played by Connie Britton. Assigned the task of completing her childhood bucket list, Alex's odyssey promises to uncover family secrets, introduce unexpected romance, and ultimately lead to profound self-discovery.
