Kevin Hart to Star in Tim Story's Comedy '72 Hours' for Netflix
Netflix has announced 72 Hours, a new comedy film starring Kevin Hart, with Tim Story at the helm. Story is known for hits like Barbershop, Think Like a Man, and the Ride Along franchises.

The screenplay is written by Matt Mider & Kevin Burrows, alongside Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg. The story follows a forty-year-old executive, played by Hart, who finds himself accidentally looped into a group text for a bachelor party. Hoping to revive his struggling career, he decides to join a group of twenty-somethings for a crazy three-day adventure.

Ross Fanger serves as executive producer.

72 Hours is part produced under a partnership between Sony Pictures and Netflix, giving Netflix first-look rights at Sony’s streaming projects.
