Tobey Maguire has committed to join Fox 2000's adaptation of Yann Martel's bestselling novel "Life of Pi," which will re-team the actor with director Ang Lee, who he previously worked with on "The Ice Storm" and "Ride With the Devil."

Irrfan Khan, Gerard Depardieu and Adil Hussain have joined the cast of Fox 2000's "Life of Pi," which Ang Lee begins lensing early next year.
