Sony Pictures Animation has reunited most of the original voicecast for its sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, titled Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers.

"Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester is in talks to play Adam Sandler's future daughter-in-law in the Columbia Pictures comedy "I Hate You, Dad" and rapper Vanilla Ice has also joined the cast in a full-blown supporting role.

Columbia Pictures is looking at James Caan to join the cast of "I Hate You Dad," a comedy also starring Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler, TheWrap has learned.

Brody will star opposite Marcia Gay Harden, Christina Hendricks, Blythe Danner and James Caan in the pic that depicts three weeks in the lives of high school teachers, administrators and students through the eyes of substitute teacher Henry Barthes, played by Brody. Tony Kaye helms the pic, now lensing in Queens and Long Island.

Actor Scott Caan has been chosen to play boxer Vinny Paz on the silver screen. "Paz" will tell the inspirational comeback story of Vinny Paz, who returned from a broken neck to recapture world championship gold in the ring.

Vera Farmiga and James Caan have been set to star with Keanu Reeves in "Henry's Crime," the romantic comedy that will be directed by Malcolm Venville ("44 Inch Chest"). Sacha Gervasi ("Anvil! The Story of Anvil") penned the script.
