Ellen Burstyn has signed to make her feature directorial debut.

Scribes Patrick Massett and John Zinman, co-exec producers on the TV series Friday Night Lights, have been tapped to write City State for New Regency and director James Mangold.

FuseFrame has hired Ben Ketai to adapt the horror novella Hush for the big screen. Ketai, who wrote and directed the 2010 vampire sequel 30 Days of Night: Dark Days.
