Set against the annual competition known as “The Long Walk,” where 100 teen boys must maintain a walking speed above four miles per hour. If they receive three warnings in an hour, they are shot dead.

The Bokushi (Foxx) leads a group of veterans with promises of protection and builds a secure fortress while amassing a large arsenal with his military-trained followers. After several failed infiltration attempts, the government recruits ex-special forces member Nash Cavanaugh (Eastwood)—a former disciple of The Bokushi—and military operative Emmanuel Ashburn (De Niro) to use Nash’s insider knowledge to seek revenge and recover what he lost, including the love of his life.

In the neighborhood of Sag Harbor, New York, Charles Blakey (Corey Hawkins) is out of work, out of luck and on the verge of foreclosure on his ancestral home. A knock on the door from a mysterious businessman, Anniston Bennet (Willem Dafoe), brings a bizarre and lucrative proposition; rent his dusty stand-up basement out for the summer and receive enough money to clear his debts for good. Once Charles accepts, he finds himself led down a terrifying path that confronts his family’s ghosts and locks the men in a terrifying puzzle, at the heart of it race, the source of their traumas and the root of all evil.

In an alternate present society where the state frees parents from the burden of raising children, a rule enforcer learns a shocking truth that sparks her rebellion.

Seeking new inspiration and a fresh start, married musicians Daphne (Rosy McEwan) and Darcy (Dev Patel) move to the Welsh countryside to finish their new record. While collecting audio samples, Darcy inadvertently creates a field recording of mysterious sound never before heard by human ears. The discovery renews Daphne’s creative energy, but as the echoes of her music bleed into the surrounding landscape, ancient and malevolent woodland forces are disturbed. One day, a stranger arrives on their doorstep. The couple initially embraces the stranger, who helps them navigate and understand their new environment, but Darcy grows suspicious of his obsession. As jealousy and paranoia infect the makeshift family, the line between reality and myth begins to blur.
