2022 Movies : Horror

While the Spanish flu epidemic is sweeping across the continent, a priest and his son return home to their family in rural Norway from missionary service in Madagascar. The priest has been tasked with deciding the location of a new church for the local mining company, which reveals itself to be on top of an old Sami burial ground. When the priest decides to have the remains dug up and removed, the dead come alive and haunt the settlers.

When Robert and his wife Maia move to her childhood home, he discovers an old portrait of his likeness in the attic - a man referred to only as ‘The Visitor’. Soon he finds himself descending down a frightening rabbit hole in an attempt to discover the true identity of his mysterious doppelgänger, only to realize that every family has its own terrifying secrets.

Frustrated by a constant ringing in his ears, a paranoid data analyst documents his obsessive attempts to cure his own debilitating tinnitus through a series of home experiments conducted in a make-shift lab. But as his research becomes increasingly dark and macabre, a horrifying secret behind his maddening condition is revealed with a potential cure more sinister than he could have ever imagined.

A couple moves into an old house inhabited by the man's half-brother, who escaped hellish torture from the Cenobites but returned shorn of his skin. The Cenobites, are triggered by a Rubik's Cube-like puzzle device that unlocks the gates of hell and would like another meeting with the man.
