R.I.P.D. Movie Updates

Co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges seem to be bonding quite nicely! The duo enjoyed a nice chat between scenes of their new movie, R.I.P.D. in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday, September 18th, 2011.

Robert Knepper, perhaps best known as a scene-stealing villain on TV’s Prison Break, has joined R.I.P.D., Universal’s supernatural action movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges based on the Dark Horse comic.

Actors Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Bacon were spotted on set of their new film, R.I.P.D. in Boston, MA on September 13, 2011.

James Hong, the veteran Asian-American actor who has appeared in cult classics such as Blade Runner and Big Trouble in Little China and more recently did voicework Kung Fu Panda 2, has joined the cast of Universal’s R.I.P.D., the supernatural action movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges.

Mary-Louise Parker is in negotiations to round out the cast of Universal's "R.I.P.D."

Stephanie Szostak is in final negotiations to play the female lead in Universal's "R.I.P.D" starring Ryan Reynolds.

Kevin Bacon is in final negotiations to play the villain in Universal's "R.I.P.D." starring Ryan Reynolds.

FF6 is set for a Memorial Day weekend introduction with its May 24, 2013 date. R.I.P.D. is scheduled for a June 28, 2013 opening.

Powell was originally set to be played by Zach Galifianakis, but he dropped out over concerns that the project would be delayed if Warner Bros. exercised Reynolds’ option on Green Lantern 2. However, we have now confirmed that filming is set for mid-September in Boston.
