Venom: Let There Be Carnage was released in nationwide movie theaters on Friday, October 1, 2021. There were 24 other movies released on the same date, including The Addams Family 2 , The Many Saints of Newark and Implanted.
As of 4/19/2020, Venom 2 is still set to be released in the U.S. on October 2, 2020. Sony has said it intends to keep the same release date despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Assuming so and no post-production delays, we'd expect to see a first trailer this summer.
