Follows the Skov family from the spring 1943 to the summer 1945, when Denmark becomes free again. The Skov family is divided. This puts the relationship with Eva under pressure. She has always had difficulty with her husband's cooperation with the occutying forces. The growing opposition to the occupation and the increased brutality of the Germans have fatal consequences for the family.

It is the story of Plum Island – a beautiful refuge whose isolation allows two powerful families to maintain a semblance of order in the wake of the zombie holocaust. But as the inhabitants slowly die off, the two clans become sharply divided: the O’Flynns believe that the undead must be destroyed without exception, while the Muldoons insist that afflicted loved ones be kept “alive” until a cure is found. The result is an escalating showdown with echoes of a classic Western stand-off that erupts in brutality and violence.

Centers on Larry Guthrie, who loses his first love to the town hot shot and decides to win her back by volunteering with the children at her after-school program. When Larry accidentally tells the kids the Tooth Fairy is make-believe, he soon is transformed into a tutu-clad fairy with the "sentence" of collecting teeth.

Set on a tropical island, the film will “delve into the dark nature of humanity from the perspective of the last humans on earth who are caught between factions of the undead”.
