Three centuries after a global flood, the world consists of scattered islands and is dominated by a continuous, massive storm. The remaining population lives on these islands and faces constant danger from the storm. A fortified city-state called Argos exists as a place of safety and can only be reached by completing dangerous trials known as Storm Riding.
