After a Jewish couple (Jérémie Renier and The Artist’s Bérénice Bejo) sells their basement to a former history teacher (The Intouchables’ François Cluzet), they discover his secret life as an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist. As the couple struggles to rescind the sale, the buyer befriends their naive teenage daughter.

How is Charlene supposed to grieve when she’s also fulfilling her obligation to carry on her brother’s design business, care for her aging mother, Lorenna, and reconcile with Ayla, who she’s been avoiding? No big deal. She’s fine, (Lies. All lies. She’s the farthest thing from being fine). Grief is one thing that can’t be avoided for long.
