Plot – What's the story about?

Plot: During WWII, a German soldier is found dead, prompting local authorities to either find the guilty party, or face death by the Nazis the following morning. When they realize they’re unable to find the real killer, they promise a hero’s funeral for the village madman if he agrees to take the fall.
