What's the story about?

Plot: In 1984, a ten-year-old girl fashions herself a private detective and trails “suspects” hanging around the newly opened Green Oaks shopping mall. Nearly twenty years later, in 2003, two mall employees have had their lives forever altered by the disappearance and of that precocious ten-year-old.
