Plot – What's the story about?

Plot: Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

Key Facts

Expected to shoot at a new backlot studio in Penzing, Germany with location shoots in Prague and Munich (9/10/2022).
Sony has exited the project, along with director Corin Hardy and star Jason Momoa, after creative differences with rights holder/producer Davis Films (Deadline, 5/31/18).
Sony Pictures has signed on to distribute the project (Hollywood Reporter, 9/1/17).
The film was nearing production in 2015 when it was shelved due to Relativity Media's bankruptcy filing. Jason Momoa was originally on-board to star. (11/18/16).
