Set in the 14th century in Florence, this epic progresses through 200 years of Italian history while telling the powerful tale of orphan Luca Bastardo. Luca's unusually long life affords him the chance to thoroughly explore the elements of good and evil, the ability to make the ultimate choice between true love & immortality and most importantly, the opportunity to learn how to believe in something as intangible as faith.
