Akiva Goldsman will organize a writers room to figure out a way to thematically link the exploration of mythical creatures and races in the hope of creating a film series for Paramount (Deadline.com, 7/11/17).
Adapted from Dugald A. Steer's children's book series. The books are faux fiction and based on the conceit that dragons actually exist as revealed by the Victorian dragonologist Ernest Drake.
