Yes! I think that the husband may have had an affair briefly with Fiona and decided to stop it. The ending doesn't confirm that he wasn't cheating, it only confirms he didn't get caught and that he wasn't in the same room as Fiona in Mexico. And so he wasn't in the same room as Fiona as Mexico on the last night. They may have had a fight, there's really no telling.^spoiler!
