Plot – What's the story about?

Plot: 20th century musical radical and multi-hyphenate George Antheil has an unlikely friendship with movie star Hedy Lamarr. Despite their day jobs in entertainment, the two possess an intense desire to defeat the Nazis and thus invent and patent a secret communications system in 1941 which sketches out the principle of frequency hopping. Their invention proves crucial to the development of modern communications.
