• Producer Larry Kasanoff told Empire Magazine (6/27/16) that the film will be a trilogy. "That’s correct and purely because the story we conceived is so big."
• Line producer Dane Smith (Transformers, Harry Potter, Spiderman) will be responsible for implementing the unique Tetris VFX developed especially for the film.
• Hollywood Reporter (5/17/2016) says, the film is being packed as an "epic sci-fi thriller." The partners say it will be an official China-U.S. co-production, with a Western and Chinese ensemble cast.
