Plot – What's the story about?

Plot: In the 1950s, three boys — one white, one Latino and one black — attend the Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys — a reformatory in Florida opened in 1900. The "work farm" is known for allegations of torture, beatings, rapes and even murder at the hand of some of the staff. There is a place called the "white house" and the staff take the boys and beat the them in a contest to see who can draw blood first.
