What's the story about?

Plot: A method actor who refuses to put his private life on display, Montgomery Clift graduates from stage roles to screen success in films that include "A Place In The Sun" and "From Here To Eternity." His matinee idol good looks are destroyed by a devastating car accident that leaves him with a broken nose and facial scars. Though he continues to make movies, the accident haunts him until his death, even though he receives an Oscar nomination for one of his last performances in Judgment At Nuremberg.
