After spending years using a fake marriage to help score with the ladies, commitment phobe, Patrick (Adam Sandler), finally meets the girl of his dreams. But, when his dream girl finds the ring in his pocket and notices the tan line on his finger, she demands to get the soon-to-be ex-wife’s permission before moving forward in the relationship. Patrick must find a good female friend to play the role of his wife and who knows him better than his own office assistant, Katherine (Jennifer Aniston).
