Set in the near future, a select few, called Epics, develop super powers. A nine year-old sees his father wound the allegedly invincible Steelheart, the high Epic who seizes control of their city. After the weakened Steelheart kills the boy’s father, the kid ten year later joins a secret resistance movement who assassinate Super Villains. Using his knowledge of Steelheart’s weakness, he helps take down the leaders.
