"Import Export" tells the story of Dan who is about to propose to his girlfriend Jasmin. However, his world is shattered when they learn Jasmin is to be given away by her traditional Pakistani family to an overseas cousin in an arranged marriage. Determined to fight for her Dan has to overcome the preconceived notions that her very traditional family has against mixed marriages. So Dan must take drastic measures and go through multiple obstacles to gain her parents' trust and prove that love should know no frontiers. Thorough his efforts to change her family and gain their approval, Dan also changes significantly, understanding their perspective on this delicate issue.
