When a man is offered a million dollars to play a game in which hunters try to kill him, he thinks he has found the perfect loophole: they can only attack when he’s alone. His only problem is that none of his friends or family believe the game is real.

The film is about a modern friend group falling apart and the craziest way to deal with it: by bringing back dueling. It begins with Woody (McAuliffe) who finds out that his best friend Colin (Sprouse) has been sleeping with his girlfriend, which leads him to challenge Colin to an old-school duel.
