When a monstrous freak tsunami hits a sleepy beach community, a group of survivors from different walks of life find themselves trapped inside a submerged grocery store. The story follows Will Montgomery (played by Nicolas Cage), a master thief who has been sent to prison for 8 years after being double-crossed in a heist gone awry.
