A contractor's artist wife suffers from an illness that prevents her from being in the sunlight and, as such, he builds a futuristic house that blocks out any natural light. When a band of criminals attempts to break into the house to steal one of his wife's valuable sculptures, he must evade and outsmart them to protect his home.

Julius Caesar, a young general in the Roman army, is kidnapped by Cilician pirates and enslaved on their prison island. Caesar maintains such an air of superiority during his imprisonment that he demands his captors more than double the ransom they have placed on his life. After he escapes with his men, he makes his way back and brutally crucifies the perpetrators as he’d vowed he would. Upon his return to Rome, Caesar powers into politics on his way toward ruling the empire.
Larry Ray is released from prison and promptly moves into his dauther's dorm at Sarah Lawrence, a liberal arts college. He cooks fancy steak dinners and regales students with stories of his work being a CIA operative while extolling the virtues of a Marine life. He takes charge of the kids' lives and then whisks them away to a private apartment for the summer. Ray turns the kids against parents and abuses them. But none turn against him, even praising how he turned their lives around in several court cases.
