The action centers on the backstory of the mysterious new Pokemon, the winged green Celebi, who is a strange time-traveler creature that has powers over nature as well as time and space, bringing new adventures to Ash, Pikachu, and their friends.
Written by, directed by, and starring Roberto Benigni, this is the classic story of a wooden puppet come to life and his magnificent odyssey to become a 'real boy'. Ash and Pikachu travel to the Water Capital of the world, Alto Mare, where they meet two new Pokemons, the brother/sister pair of birds called Latias and Latios who protect a treasure called the Droplet of the Heart, which is the target of a pair of thieves, Zanna and Rion. As the town gets accidentally flooded, the Droplet becomes endangered... can Ash save the day?
