The film centers on Barney Thomson (Carlyle), an awkward, shy Glasgow barber, living a life of desperate mediocrity. Snowtime!

To amuse themselves during the winter school break, the kids in a small village decide to have a massive snowball fight. Luke and Sophie, both 11 years old, become the leaders of the opposing sides. Five Nights in Maine

Sherwin considers himself a good man, though flawed like any other. He is deeply in love with his wife, Fiona.
