All the passengers of 20th Century Fox's Murder on the Orient Express have boarded.
Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Michael Pena and Judi Dench will co-star in the ensemble adaptation of Agatha Christie’s acclaimed mystery novel, per The Hollywood Reporter (see article). The film will be directed by, produced by and also stars Kenneth Branagh.
The classic murder mystery centers around a murder onboard the famous train, and introduces Belgian detective Hercule Poirot who must solve the case while being surrounded by duplicitous passengers.
The film, first announced in 2013, will began shooting in November 2016 in London.
Branagh leads the cast as Hercule Poirot with Johnny Depp playing Ratchett, the man who is murdered. Much of the other cast will play various passengers.
Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg and Mark Gordon also produce the film.
